HVAC contracting and installation in Ras Al Khaimah

Tabreed Electro Mechanic Contracting supplies, installs and commissions air-conditioning and ventilation systems in Ras Al Khaimah, from private villas to hospitals, malls, schools and multi-storey towers. We have worked alongside main contractors and under consultants' supervision since 2008, on projects in Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Sharjah and Dubai.

What's included

  • Chilled water systems, including pipework and pump rooms
  • Packaged units, AHUs and FAHUs with their ductwork
  • VRF, DX and split systems
  • Ventilation fans and smoke management systems
  • Testing and commissioning before handover

Systems we install

We install every system on our own project list, from central chilled water plants to single split units, each chosen to suit the building and how it is used.

Chilled water systems

A central plant chills water and pumps it to air handling units and fan coils around the building. We install the plant with its pipework and pump rooms. Our project list includes chilled water systems at Shaam General Hospital, Grove Village Mall, the RAK Academy British School campuses in Al Hamra and Al Rams, and Safeer Mall.

AHUs, FAHUs and packaged units

Air handling units filter, cool and move air through ductwork. Fresh air handling units draw in outside air and cool it for ventilation. Packaged units hold all the cooling parts in one cabinet, usually on the roof. We install them with their ductwork, as at the Ministry of Energy building, Kalba Civil Defence Station and the UAE Model School.

VRF, DX and split systems

In a VRF system one outdoor unit serves many indoor units, each controlled on its own. We also install DX systems and ducted, decorative and standard split units in residential buildings, showrooms and public buildings. Our VRF work includes a B+G+4 residential building and part of the VRF and smoke-management works at Sanad Village – Autism and Rehabilitation Centre in The Sustainable City, Dubai.

Ventilation fans and smoke management

Supply and exhaust fans move fresh air in and stale air out. Smoke management systems use fans, ducts and dampers to control smoke in a fire. We install them to the consultant's approved design, which in the UAE is subject to Civil Defence fire and life safety requirements. Projects include Grove Village Mall (smoke management) and Kalba Civil Defence Station (ventilation fans).

How a contract runs

Most contracts follow the same four steps, handled by one company.

  1. 01

    Design

We study the building and its use, calculate heat loads to ASHRAE methods and select the system. Where a consultant has already designed it, we work to the approved design.

  2. 02

    Supply

We source equipment from established manufacturers and fabricate ductwork in our own workshop.

  3. 03

    Install

Our teams install equipment, ductwork and pipework on site, in coordination with the main contractor and under the consultant's supervision.

  4. 04

    Commission

We test and commission each system before it is handed over.

Ductwork from our own workshop

We fabricate ductwork in our own 6,000 sq ft workshop in Al Felayah, Ras Al Khaimah, and our teams install it on site. Fabrication and installation stay within one company: see duct fabrication.

Brands we install

We supply and install equipment from established manufacturers, including Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, Hitachi, Trane, LG and York. Equipment can be supplied on its own or as part of a design-and-install contract: see air-conditioning equipment supply.

  • Mitsubishi Electric
  • Carrier
  • Hitachi
  • Trane
  • LG
  • York

Brand names are trademarks of their owners and are listed for reference.

Design before, maintenance after

Heat-load calculations to ASHRAE methods size the equipment before it is installed: see HVAC design and heat-load calculations. After handover, an annual maintenance contract keeps the system serviced: see AC maintenance contracts (AMC).

Chilled water systems with their pipework and pump rooms; AHUs, FAHUs and packaged units with their ductwork; VRF, DX, ducted, decorative and standard split units; and ventilation fans and smoke management systems.

Do you work with main contractors and consultants?

Yes. We usually work alongside the main contractor and under the consultant's supervision, and we install to the approved drawings and specifications.

Can you supply the equipment as well?

Yes. We supply and install equipment from brands including Mitsubishi Electric, Carrier, Hitachi, Trane, LG and York. See air-conditioning equipment supply.

Who makes the ductwork?

We fabricate it in our own 6,000 sq ft workshop in Al Felayah, Ras Al Khaimah, and our teams install it.

Where have you installed systems?

Our project list covers Ras Al Khaimah, Umm Al Quwain, Kalba in Sharjah, and Dubai, for government bodies, a general hospital, schools, mosques, malls and residential buildings. See our project list.

Do you test the system before handover?
